East York Midgets are all smiles after winning the 2009 Interlock title

Interlock season ends
The Scarborough Baseball Association's 2009 Midget Interlock  season ended in victory for East York on Monday, Aug. 17. Final seasons standings are posted.

Stingers tryouts begin next week
Information on tryouts for Scarborough Stingers AAA teams playing in the Toronto Baseball Association's leagues in 2010 are now posted on the Stingers Web site.

League information
SBA member leagues - Birchmount, East Toronto, Wexford-Agincourt and West Hill - offer house league baseball, from T-ball to Midget, and also select programs. Go the links on the SBA website for more information on each league.

New Cleat Rule In Effect For SBA Interlock Play
At its annual meeting in October, the SBA voted to phase out the use of metal cleats in interlock play. Effective for the 2009 season, metal cleats will NOT be allowed in the bantam interlock. They will be permitted in the midget division.
However, in 2010 metal cleats will be banned in both bantam and midget interlock divisions.
